1. Customer support
Support is given by a real person on our team. There are no chatbots.
- Email: hello@icardpayment.com. We reply within one business day.
- Mail: ICARD LLC, 11 Dartmouth Rd, Highland Mills, NY 10950, United States.
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern Time, except US bank holidays.
- Online: merchants can see their payments, payouts, disputes and fees at any time in the iCard portal.
We help with account setup and verification, payments, refunds, payouts, disputes, fees and the API.
2. Refund policy
Merchants (businesses using iCard). iCard's fees are for payment processing that has already been performed, so they are generally not refundable. If we charged a fee in error, contact us within 60 days of the charge and we will refund it in full. Whether the processing fee on a payment you refund to your customer is returned to you depends on your agreement; see Fees.
Refunding your own customers. Merchants can refund a payment in full or in part from the iCard portal. A refund always goes back to the card or bank account that was used for the original payment. Card refunds usually appear on the cardholder's statement within 5 to 10 business days. Bank refunds usually arrive within 3 to 5 business days.
3. Return policy
iCard does not sell physical goods, so there is nothing to return to iCard. Each merchant that uses iCard sets its own return policy for the goods or services it sells. Merchants must show that policy to their customers before the customer pays (see our Terms of Service).
4. Cancellation policy
- You can cancel your iCard account at any time by emailing hello@icardpayment.com from the email address on the account. You don't need to give a reason.
- We confirm the cancellation by email within one business day. From then on, no new payments can be accepted.
- Payments already made still settle and are paid out to you. As set out in our Terms, we may hold some funds after closing to cover refunds, disputes and returns on past payments, for up to 180 days, or longer if a bank or card network requires it.
- iCard has no subscriptions, trials or minimum terms, so there is nothing else to cancel.
5. Delivery policy
iCard's services are delivered online. Nothing is shipped. Here is when each part is delivered:
| What | When |
|---|---|
| Account access | Immediately after you confirm your email address. |
| Verification decision | Usually within 1 to 2 business days after you complete the verification form. It can take longer if more documents are needed. |
| Ability to take payments | As soon as your account is approved. |
| Card payments | Approved or declined in seconds. |
| Bank (ACH) payments | Usually clear in 2 to 4 business days. |
| Payouts to your bank | Usually 1 to 3 business days after a payment clears. The first payout and risk reviews can take longer. |
Merchants who sell goods or services that are delivered later (for example, a deposit on a future project) must tell their customers when delivery will happen, before the customer pays.
6. Security and payment transmission
- Every page of icardpayment.com and the portal is served over HTTPS with TLS encryption.
- Card numbers, security codes and bank account numbers are typed into secure fields hosted by our processing partner, Finix Payments, Inc. They are sent straight from the customer's browser to Finix, which is PCI DSS compliant, and turned into a token. iCard only ever handles the token, plus the card brand or bank and the last four digits.
- iCard does not store full card numbers, security codes, bank account numbers, Social Security numbers or tax IDs.
- Payment details are sent only when the customer submits a payment, a merchant enters a card for a customer over the phone, or a merchant completes verification.
- Access to the portal is protected by passwords, with role-based permissions for each merchant's team. Actions are recorded in an audit log.
7. Consumer data privacy
We collect only the personal information needed to provide and secure payments, we never sell it, and we share it only with our payment partners, service providers and authorities as required by law. Our Privacy Policy explains in full:
- what information we collect;
- how we use and protect it;
- who we share it with;
- how long we keep it;
- how to access, correct or delete it.
8. Currency, legal and export restrictions
- Currency: all payments, fees and payouts are in U.S. dollars (USD).
- Who can use iCard: businesses and sole proprietors based in the United States, with a US bank account. Some types of business are not allowed; see Prohibited businesses.
- Export and sanctions: iCard's services are subject to U.S. export control and economic sanctions laws. They may not be used by, or for the benefit of, anyone on a U.S. government sanctions list or in a country or region under comprehensive U.S. sanctions.
- Data location: iCard's application and database are hosted in the United States.
9. If you paid a business through iCard
The business you paid is responsible for what it sold you, and for its own refund, return and cancellation policies. Please contact that business first. Its name appears on the payment page, on your receipt and on your card statement.
If you can't reach the business, or think a payment was not authorized, email hello@icardpayment.com and we will help. You can also contact your card issuer or bank.
